Amico was the design-builder and site works contractor for the new construction of the 18 000 ft2, two-storey Welcome Centre – an iconic gateway building that is the front door and ‘address’ for the University of Windsor.

Scope of Services: Amico was responsible for overseeing the management of both the design and construction phases for the project. By combining design and construction quality, cost, schedule and safety into a single point of responsibility, Amico ensured that the project was completed within budget and turned over to the University ahead of schedule, to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. The scope of work included all earthworks, mechanical, electrical, interior finishes, the exterior envelope, completed site servicing and all pavement around the building.
