Description

This is one of several contracts to deliver the Ontario Line, a 15.6 km stand-alone rapid transit line that will connect the Ontario Science Centre
to Exhibition/Ontario Place. Because more than 227,500 people live within a 10-minute walk of an Ontario Line station, the new line will help alleviate traffic congestion, greenhouse gases and fuel consumption by providing an
alternative transportation option.

Scope

  • Three kilometres of elevated guideway (bridge structures)
  • Five elevated stations and one emergency exit building
  • Interface with the maintenance and storage facility
  • Interfaces with Eglinton Crosstown LRT Line 5 and sections of existing
    Metrolinx-owned rail corridor where Ontario Line trains will operate

As founder and President, Mr. Amicone directs, co-ordinates, and oversees a select team of dedicated professionals to ensure overall target objectives are attained. Ensuring a seamless delivery to the client, Mr. Amicone is responsible for the overall management of the entire contract, leading and maintaining internal programmes and workcycles as well as dealing at the senior level with the owner, local Authorities and all third-party stakeholders.
