
Gordie Howe Int’l Bridge
Description
The Gordie Howe International Bridge is a major new international crossing point that spans the Detroit river between Windsor, Ontario and Detroit, Michigan. It will provide a more direct roadway link between Michigan’s I-75 and the Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway/401 corridor at Canada’s premier trade gateway.
Scope
- Installation of 850,000 lineal metres of wick drains
- Construction of perimeter 4.25 km access road
- Sewers, watermains, sanitary forcemain, retention ponds, creek drain alignment, soil remediation, etc
- Utility relocation and underground and overhead electrical infrastructure
- Construction of on-ramp deck (Canadian side)
