Amica Glen Abbey is currently being built at 2330 Khalsa Gate in the Palmero hamlet in Halton County Ontario, within the town of Oakville. The retirement residence features 234 suites sand one level of underground
parking.

Scope

  • Engage the engineering team / designers
  • Meet with all parties (Amica/Amico) to ensure all designer criteria met
  • Coordination and construction for entire building including FFE.

Key Features

  • Amico led the design development process working collaboratively with the Town of Oakville, Halton Region and the project Engineers
  • Using Deltabeams/Piekko system allowed for the elimination of
    approximately 100 tons of structural steel (cost saving measure)
