Our Design Build team was recognized with an award from the Ontario General Contractors Association (OGCA), for surpassing 1,281,000 person hours worked with no Lost Time Injuries (LTI). At OGCA’s annual Leaders in Safety event, members’ unwavering commitments to safety were celebrated and reinforced.
Our team gained valuable insights from fellow health and safety advocates at the event, who discussed continuous achievements through leadership. This opportunity allowed our safety leaders to reflect on how we can and will continue improving our own safety procedures through continued skill development and safety practices.
Our ongoing recognition of this award is a testament to our team’s dedication to building a stronger culture of safety. We continue to take strides by adopting new safety systems and procedures. This year, we implemented a new health and safety management system that improved near-miss reporting and expanded our protocols to make our sites safer every day.
We’re proud of all the progress we’ve made through updated processes, enhanced training, upgraded equipment, and most importantly, our people. Looking ahead, we remain committed to our collective continuous improvement in evolving our practices to keep everyone safe in all our workplaces.
