As founder and President, Mr. Amicone directs, co-ordinates, and oversees a select team of dedicated professionals to ensure overall target objectives are attained. Ensuring a seamless delivery to the client, Mr. Amicone is responsible for the overall management of the entire contract, leading and maintaining internal programmes and workcycles as well as dealing at the senior level with the owner, local Authorities and all third-party stakeholders.

Ricardo has decades of experience delivering major infrastructure projects in Spain, UK and Canada where he has developed and refined his key skills: thinking strategically, developing rapport, influencing, and leading.
As Chief Operating Officer, Ricardo manages several areas of operations including Design/Build, Infrastructure, Major Projects, Social & Collaborative Contracts and the Project Management Office functions. He also focuses on the firm’s strategy and long term growth.

Daniel Botero
Vice President - Major Projects
With over 36 years of experience in the heavy civil, transportation, transit and infrastructure construction industries, Mr. Botero possesses a unique combination of hands-on technical experience coupled with strong project management, organizational, financial and communication skills. As Vice President of Major Projects for Amico Affiliates, Mr. Botero is the lead executive for medium to major infrastructure projects procured through Alternative Project Delivery, including P3, Alliance, Progressive Design Build and other Collaborative projects. Mr. Botero provides effective and professional management leadership to successfully deliver effective results for all parties and stakeholders, while collaboratively formulating innovate solutions and strategies to obtain best for project outcomes.

Mauro Mastronardi
Vice President - Corporate
Strategy & Development
As Vice President of Corporate Affairs, Mauro oversees several functions including Legal, Marketing, Information Technology, Corporate Strategy and Amico Accelerate, an in- house technology accelerator. With over 20 years in construction, including the last 10 years of growing responsibilities within Amico, Mauro has left his imprint on technical proposals and business development, health & safety and overall management functions.

Kevin Farrow
Vice President - Design Build
As Vice President of Amico Design Build, Kevin is committed to driving organizational growth, exceeding business objectives, and delivering projects of the highest caliber. He draws on experience spanning 25 years in the industry with proven success leading and managing complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams in the GTA and Southern Ontario. Safety, quality, and innovation are at the forefront of Kevin’s approach to construction management, operational strategy and planning. He has successfully demonstrated the ability to identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and implement innovative solutions to increase project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Cindy Prince
Vice President - Properties
Ms. Prince leads the Properties division in all property pursuits, development opportunities, tenant negotiations and obtaining required approvals from all levels of Government. In that role, she draws on her 25+ years of experience as a Municipal Land Use Planning Consultant and communications specialist. Along with coordinating all of Amico’s ongoing municipal liaison and public consultation practices, Ms. Prince is also the company’s principal contact and coordinator for all client/media relations.

Shak Chowdhury

Collaborative Contracts
With over 25 years of experience working on major and complex construction projects in the UK and in Canada, both in the development and construction delivery phases, Shak places a strong emphasis on building highly collaborative relationships, helping to create successful results within safe working environments. Shak specializes in the delivery of major infrastructure and large complex building projects including but not limited to: Alliance Projects; Progressive Design Build 2 Stage Tendering; Construction Management; and Strategic Framework Partnerships – where trust and transparency are key to ensuring project success.

James Di Laudo
Vice President - Infrastructures
As Vice President, Jamie brings over 30 years of experience to the Amico team and is responsible for corporate strategic planning, directing and coordinating the company’s infrastructure business unit. An expert in project planning, value engineering, contract administration and implementation of new technologies and construction techniques. Mr. Di Laudo oversees construction and project management, helping to establish construction methodology, while overseeing scheduling and ensuring compliance with all project specifications.

Elias Ford
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Elias brings over 25 years of experience in strategic planning, accounting, treasury, taxation, financial and public reporting to all Amico companies. His experience also includes project management, P3 financing, internal controls and compliances, system design and EPR implementation. Elias has broad experience working with multi-national public and private companies in multi-discipline engineering, construction, mining, project management, and financial services industries in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and APAC countries. As CFO, his responsibilities include working with Executive Management on strategic planning, risk management, project management practices, policies & procedures, and internal controls. Elias holds a post-graduate degree from the University of London, England along with professional designations in CPA Canada, CPA Australia, and PMP.

Craig Sofley
Head of Human Resources
As Head of Human Resources, Craig employs a strategy of ‘delivering through people’ that focuses on talent acquisition, management and retention programs, and on creating learning and development pathways for employees. He holds Fellow status with the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and is working toward Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) status, with additional formalized training and certifications in both Aboriginal Culture awareness and Coaching & Talent Development.
