The safety of each employee guides our work planning and execution, in training and in preparations for work. Our goal: zero on-site incidents across the company. To that end:
- All new employees receive New Employee Orientation before starting work.
- Job (Task) Hazard Assessments are performed for every activity prior to being performed to ensure everyone is aware of the task, any associated hazards, and controls in-place to ensure their safety.
- Amico has a team of 14 dedicated health & safety professionals whose sole focus is to ensure our workers enjoy the safest work environment possible.
- Amico has significantly invested in an enhanced (electronic) Health & Safety Management System that simplifies filing of assessment and inspection reports and assists us in identifying any potential or concerning trends that may impact safety.
