Amico Honoured with Two CCPPP 2025 National Awards for Innovation & Excellence in P3s

We’re proud to announce that Amico and its partners have won two top spots at the National Awards for Innovation in P3s in the P3 Design & Construction Category.

Presented by the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (CCPPP) at P3 2025, Canada’s Infrastructure Conference, this award honours the best in Canadian infrastructure. These awards are a testament to our team’s commitment to continuous innovation to bring these community-building projects to life.

Gold: Highway 401 Expansion – Mississauga to Milton, Ontario

This major infrastructure upgrade widened and reconstructed 18 kilometres of one of North America’s busiest transportation corridors—from six lanes to as many as twelve—while maintaining traffic flow for over 250,000 daily vehicles.

Award of Merit: Grandview Kids – Ajax, Ontario

Grandview Kids is a new four-storey, 100,306-square-foot children’s treatment centre that brings together services previously spread across multiple sites into one fully accessible, family-centred location. It serves over 6,000 children and youth with physical, communication, and developmental needs, and features therapy areas, a pool, gymnasium, and outdoor treatment spaces.

By integrating health-care, education and community services under one roof, Grandview Kids enhances accessibility, promotes inclusion and provides a welcoming environment for children and families across the Durham Region.
