Amico Consortium achieves financial close on Highway 401 Expansion Project

West Corridor Constructor (WCC) is a consortium, composed of Aecon, Parsons and Amico, that was assembled to design, build and finance the Highway 401 Expansion Project (valued at $639.8M). The Client is Infrastructure Ontario and the Ministry of Transportation. Construction is expected to begin the fourth quarter of 2019 with anticipated substantial completion in the fourth quarter of 2022.

The Project involves the reconstruction and widening of 18km from the Credit River in Mississauga to Regional Road 25 in Milton. The Project also includes bridge reconstruction and replacement, structural culvert replacements, drainage and utilities work as well as environmental protection activities.
