Our team successfully completed the superstructure of Amica Balmoral, a redeveloped, senior lifestyles residence located in the vibrant community of Deer Park, Toronto. This highly anticipated 13-storey redevelopment will feature breathtaking views of the skyline, stunning architectural design, as well as prestigious and well-appointed amenities. Future residents will have flexible lifestyle options including independent living, assisted living or memory care suites. Amica Balmoral is setting a new standard for senior living, where personalized care will empower residents to age in a place with optimism and peace of mind. The location allows residents to enjoy all the conveniences of Toronto with the modern luxury of Amica’s elevated senior living residence.
This milestone marks a significant step forward, achieved in partnership with Amica Senior Lifestyles and Amico, supporting the urgent need for care suites in Toronto.
Our structural milestone is not the only achievement to date. With limited space on-site, Amico maximized efficiency and safety through coordination of subcontractors, material and machinery. This required important collaboration between our subtrades to minimize site congestion. We are proud of our team’s ability to successfully manage the flow of materials in and out of site while staying on schedule.
Since breaking ground in 2023, our team has prioritized the importance of safety through procedures and policies in place. Amico’s dedicated safety team has been critical in supporting and navigating risks during high activity times on-site, ensuring that safety always came first.
